Final projects of self portraits using our iPads turned out so neat! We used several apps including Sketchbook Express, Art Set, Sketches, and Art n Trace.
Students were asked to create a character from three columns of four types of environments, characteristics, and physical additions. Choosing one from each column. They could combine using their iPad Pro and Pro-Create app or the computer Wacom Pen Tablet and Photoshop.
High School Independent Art students challenged themselves to paint their first self-portraits using acrylic paints on oval canvas boards. Nice work....Helen, Jordyn, and Hunter! Vivian decided to turn a photo into a flat contour line image. She then transferred it to her canvas board and painted with acrylics. Why not add a floral collage next to it? #mix it up Students used the iPad app My Flake to draw their preliminary snowflakes before folding and cutting their paper. It allows the students to see the cuts and full preview of the snowflake before drawing on their paper folds to cut out. They can see the changes that need to be made and think about images in it's full symmetry. Bonus: It saves a lot of paper cut mistakes! |
